About us

Slovenian innovator Hakim El Khiar has been working with drinking water filtration systems since 1996. He assembles various filters to solve different problems related to drinking water. He is engaged in the development, prototyping, and industrialization of filtration systems. He developed systems for preparing drinking water in emergency conditions. He specializes in recycling wastewater from various industrial processes. His innovations have been awarded multiple times by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
He currently collaborates with the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (National Research Council of Italy), the National Institute of Chemistry, the University of Maribor, and the nonprofit organization Venice Lagoon Plastic Free. He has also cooperated with the Ministry of Defense, various municipalities, the United Nations, NATO, companies such as Iskra, PlanetCare, Mlekarna Planika Kobarid, Speed Queen Germany, and many others.
